Service Description

Expert Advice, Tailored to Your Project An ADL Consult is your chance to sit down with a design professional and get clear, personalised guidance for your project. Whether you're renovating, building new, or stuck on a specific decision, this paid session is designed to help you move forward with confidence.

Choose to meet with a member of the AD Library such as an architect, interior designer, engineer, landscape designer, or other trusted industry professional from our network. In a 45–60 minute consult, you could:

• Get feedback on your floor plans or layout

• Review finishes, colour schemes, or sample selections • Understand consent or technical requirements

• Receive supplier or professional recommendations

• Resolve a design challenge or roadblock

• Clarify next steps in your renovation or build journey

We tailor the session to your needs and connect you with the right person to support your goals. Come prepared with drawings, photos, questions, or ideas—and walk away with clarity, insight, and direction. Each consult comes with a months access to the architectural sample library and option to browse and borrow these samples.

Bookings & Payment

ADL Consults are paid sessions and must be booked in advance. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.

Consults are typically 45–60 minutes long and can take place at AD Library or online.

Professional Match You may request to meet with a specific industry member (e.g. architect, interior designer, engineer). We’ll do our best to match you with the most suitable professional based on your project needs and availability.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours prior to your appointment or a charge of $100 will be applied.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to respect the next booking.

What to Bring To make the most of your consult, we recommend bringing any relevant materials such as:

• Floor plans or sketches

• Inspiration images

• Questions or design challenges

• Sample preferences or mood boards
