Architecture + Design Library - Creating a Community

Four years ago Penny and I met up at a café in Wanaka to discuss what I thought was going to be potential work opportunities. Penny had an idea; a co-working space for those of us working in the architecture and interior design area. I had, for a couple of years, had a similar idea – a shared library for architecture and interiors professionals living in the local area. Why not mash them together and create what we now affectionately call ‘The Monster’?!

Looking back at the journey we have come on I think we have created more than just a shared resource. 35 of our members coming together for our annual Christmas lunch tells me have created something so much better ……. A Community.

A community that collaborates, supports, mentors, educates, and shares knowledge, skills, tradies and the odd glass of wine.
